Miami

Miami is ranked as the hottest city in the United States. This Metropolis has overcome a crisis, and is experiencing an amazing growth in architecture, art, design, music, cinema and gastronomy. South Beach, with its pastel-colored Art Deco hotels, Latin American rhythms and sun-tanned bodies, is the funniest (and most expensive) area to settle down as a tourist. But the most charming thing at South Beach is that the area is not only reserved for the young, handsome and rich. You also meet the bums and the homeless on the sidewalk.

Over half of the city's 2 million inhabitants originate from Latin America, and their influence can be seen on both music, food, traditions, and not least language. Wherever you travel, there are some who speak Spanish, and the city's 650,000 Cubans have helped to give Miami the nickname "Capital of Latin America".
Due to the close links to Latin America, Miami has become a financial center and a traffic hub, with one of the busiest airports in the United States and the world's largest cruise port.
