Clearwater

Clearwater is located near St. Petersburg and Tampa on the west coast of Florida. The place is perfect for sun and beach holiday, and because of the calm ocean, the area is perfect for families with young children.

St. Petersburg call itself "Sunny Capital of America", because the city has a national record with 768 sunny days. In the years between 1910 and 1986 the newspaper ST. Petersburg Evening Independent promised free newspaper on the days the sun did not shine. In the course of 76 years, it happened only 295 times - equivalent to less than four times per year on average.

For tourists Tampa is best known for the great theme park "Busch Gardens". But in recent decades, the state's third largest city has undergone a renewal of the center, and the old Cuban working quarters "Ybor City" has made it more interesting. Tampa is often associated with American Football - Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl in 2003.
 
In addition to Busch Gardens, the town has an outdoor aqua park, "Adventure Island", with many slides and nice pool areas. The city's "Museum of Science and Industry", which include simulating hurricanes, is popular amongst tourists.
